Wow! Guys this week flew by! I am glad its Friday, though. This weekend is Father’s Day so we will be spending some quality time as a family. Here are some great things from this week that I wanted to share with you in Friday’s Favorites!

show a picture of my husband and I

Today marks 12 years that I met my sweet husband. We went down memory lane earlier this week as we were watching old episodes of Gossip Girl (I know…haha…no judgement). The music they play on that show was the music we used to listen to when dating and we couldn’t believe how long ago that was…we felt old for bit.

I couldn’t imagine my life without this man. He is my rock and I am so thankful for him each and every day.

This Week

This week felt very busy. We had swimming lessons, ran some errands, planted new flowers in the garden, and started planning our small summer family vacation. Through all of this, Rhett is popping another tooth. He has not been the happiest camper this week…poor baby.

I had to share these sweet pictures of Rhett. He loves books. Each time we read together he snuggles in my lap or right next to me and looks at the pictures. I am soaking in these moments!

Sorry for the poor picture quality. I tried to snap the picture without interrupting the story we were reading together.

I did find some great things this week from Amazon and Target that I wanted to share with y’all!

Found these pretty clay beads for only $10. These beads have such beautiful, bright colors that scream summer. The package comes with 300 round beads, 50 spacer beads and 10 mm of elastic string. Uh talk about a great deal. The girls were so excited to make bracelets as soon as they saw them.

I also ordered an additional package of spacers. The pack has a variety of 12 different spacer styles for only $8.

The girls and I made bracelets for an hour using different color combinations. It made our Tuesday afternoon quite exciting! We still have a ton of beads left over to continue making more cute things.

Summer in Texas is hot! We don’t really go outside much from the 12pm-6pm because the humidity makes it unbearable to be outside. You literally sweat just standing there. So, we usually play outside in the morning and in the evening (after dinner). To stay cool, we enjoy ice cream and popsicles. In the past I usually buy the cheap popsicle molds for the girls to use, but sometimes these don’t work that well. The handles break quickly and when you are trying to pry the popsicles out of the mold the popsicle ends up falling apart. I recently found the best molds to prevent this from happening and lets just say that these are amazing! The mold is super easy to clean and you can pull the popsicles out without any problems (no more running it under warm water in the sink).

great popsicle mold found

To make our popsicles I combined coconut milk + strawberries + maple syrup, blended it up and poured it into the molds.

They turned out delicious! I see more popsicle recipes in the near future.

Can I just say that I am loving this new tie dye fashion trend. Umm.. like I want ALL the tie dye shirts I see. I recently found this cute long sleeve shirt from Target and I absolutely love it! It is a must have! So comfortable and I can’t forget to mention the color is A..M..A..Z..I..N..G! Hot pink is now one of my favorite colors to wear all because of this shirt- haha.

I also tried the tie dye bleach on a shirt again. It turned out great and love the color. I have had this shirt for a long time and I was thinking of donating it, but the bleach gave it a whole other look. So I am keeping it. If you haven’t tried tie dye bleach I highly recommend it…I’m a little addicted.

Well, that’s all. I hope you enjoyed this week’s Friday Favorites and have a happy weekend friends!
