Merry Christmas!

We have made it to the end of the year! Whew! Things are still not back to “normal” but we are making the best of it. These past few years have not been easy, but there is something so wonderful about this season to look forward to. So much magic and beautiful moments spent with family and friends.

If I could come up with one word to sum up 2021 it would be GROWTH. I have learned so much this year in all areas of my life. It is a good growth and I hope to continue it.

I did things and overcame things this year that I could have never imagined. One thing for sure that I never thought I would be able to overcome is achieving this play set the way that I imagined. Throughout the years I have pinned so many ideas to my Pinterest of play set makeovers and I FINALLY did it myself!

I need to do a lot less pinning and more doing!

Another thing I have grown this year is blogging. I am slowly learning the ins and outs of parts of blogging. I really do enjoy doing it and sharing things with y’all but there are so many things to learn. This year I was able to restructure my website and discover new ways to present my posts. I have focused a little bit more on my blog than my social media, hoping to grow the platform to reach new readers.

2022 I hope to share more recipes, more moments of motherhood and more fun projects and continue to GROW! I hope you are here to tag along for the fun ride!

I say this a lot but I am going to say it again…I absolutely LOVE Christmas! I probably think too much about it than a normal person does but it such a beautiful time of the year. I get so excited decorating, reading the wonderful Christmas stories, listening to the music, going to Church, crafting, and the hustle and bustle of squeezing in ALL the old traditions and new traditions with the kids.

I am so in love with this picture I recreated of the kids. I wish I did a picture like this each Christmas to capture all the years. It would be wonderful to have a whole album full of these photos to look back on. I think I will start this as a new tradition…no matter how old they get.

I am so thankful for all the things that have happened to me this year. Lots of good things and lots of things I grew from. For the new year, I have many new goals. I don’t know what the year will hold, but I am ready to experience it all.

From our house to yours we wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May God bless you!
