Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground all spice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix together the first 5 ingredients- pumpkin puree, oil, water, eggs and sugar. You want to make sure that the oil and water have completely mixed together and not separated.
  2. Next, add in the dry ingredients including the spices.
  3. Mix all of the ingredients together and make sure to combine well to avoid dry clumps in your bread.
  4. Pour batter into prepared 9x5 bread loaf pans.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees until toothpick runs clear. Serve warm with butter or at room temperature.
