Advent Calendar

It is my favorite time of the year! I can’t express to you how much I LOVE Christmas time! It is so magical and brings so much joy to my heart!

Every year I enjoy doing some kind of countdown to Christmas with my children. In the past, we have done a gift bag to open each day with a bible verse and a small trinket inside. We have also done the advent calendars that can be purchased at a local store.

This year, I wanted to make a personalized advent calendar that really shares the story of the birth of Jesus. So, I looked through the scriptures and created an advent calendar that shares the birth of Jesus. In addition, I added some verses that share God’s word.

I can’t wait to incorporate it this year with all of our other favorite traditions!

Ideas on how to use it:

• Print it off on cardstock, cut out each card, hole punch at top and attach to a string. Hang it up somewhere in your house where you won’t forget to use it each day such as the kitchen, living room or your child’s bedroom.
• Print it off, cut it out and use as cards to pull from each day. Display the cards you have completed each day.
